The Country Trust has extensive experience of organising residential trips for children from disadvantaged areas of London, Leeds and Bradford. A typical trip will involve a two, three or four night stay at a youth hostel, activity centre or bunk barn, with all the activities arranged by experienced Country Trust staff.
Children explore forests, farms, rivers and the seaside. They learn to take responsibility for themselves and they see how others look after the land, livestock, and wildlife habitats. They eat well, learning and playing outside together.
