Setting up small-scale food businesses in school.
Food Enterprise
YFD schools are working with a class or group of pupils to develop their own innovative enterprise projects around food growing, processing or cooking. This provides an exciting context for pupils to acquire new skills working as a team to develop, market and sell their own product. Some schools are also involving parents in the process!
A free CPD session is available to provide inspiration and information for staff to support them through this process. This opportunity is open to other interested schools too.
